How does Oculus Quest 2 improve upon the original?

Looks like the details have been leaked before the official presentation by Facebook. We knew it was coming but didn't expect the improvements to be this good. Christopher's given a nice breakdown of the primary features.

We basically have a ramp in storage to 256 GB coupled with 6GB RAM and a 50% increase in pixel density(Or a 50% increase in pixels over the original Quest based on another video ie 3200x2160? ). I would assume the resolution is still the same 2880x1600 so the increase in pixel density will reduce the screen door effect considerably. Images should look sharper and text more readable.

The headset is lighter something that users complained about with the original Quest. This together with the improved strap will certainly add to the increased comfort allowing users longer intervals of play. All of these improvements together with the better processor will definitely add to the manufactured cost. I hope it's not more than the original Quest.

Also, we do not know whether there is only one variant like we had with the 64GB and 128GB Quest.
