Will you be buying an Oculus Quest?

Yes, you should! While it’s true that some experiences last 3–4 hours, most are designed with replayability so you can play them over and over again and have rewards like Space Pirate Trainer, Beat Saber, SuperHot or Pistol Whip, these are great for parties and family reunions. Some are puzzles that will take you days to figure out in beautiful and surreal worlds like “Shadow Point” or “The under presents”.

We are now getting more robust games like Asgard's wrath or eventually Half-Life Alyx which you will be able to play with a USB-C cable and a VR-Ready PC. Plus in early 2020 it will have hand tracking, which is huge for its price. You can do lots of fun stuff with a Quest that can keep you entertained for hours, one of my closest friends uses it even at the airport and inside the plane.

Also, the price I don’t think is really an issue, cause yeah most of the VR games cost around $20 – $30 USD. But think about that they are REALLY hard to make specially for the Quest, they have to be super optimized and go through dozens or hundreds of Oculus reviews to get approved, which means you are getting a really polished game and experience in a practically new medium, but here you can actually move, dodge, shoot with your actual body and hand movements. Just don’t buy things right away (as I do), wait a little bit, check the reviews and you’ll know which games really attract you.

One more thing, keep in mind that the Quest is a Facebook product, so we know that they’ll update it and do their best to have the best product on the market, and they have the money to make it true, so more exciting and awesome things are coming to the Quest, like Facebook Horizon!

Hope this helps!
