Read on for our full review!

A Basic Review
Virtual reality is still in its infancy, but it's already better than I expected. Sony (NYSE: SNE) has unveiled a new bundle for its PlayStation 4 gaming console: a virtual reality headset plus a demo disc with 14 games that can be played on both your television and in virtual reality. The VR set comes bundled with two controllers and will retail for $399 when it launches next month.

It's a surprisingly affordable way to get into virtual reality and makes me more optimistic about VR as an investment opportunity. This latest news is also positive because it helps Sony to stand out from rivals like Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), which has yet to release any compelling content for its own Kinect-powered Hololens device. Fantastic first impressions of VR - PlayStation VR was almost universally praised by those who got their hands on it at E3 last year, but most didn't get to spend much time with it.

That seems to have changed during GDC. Paul Tassi at Forbes writes: I got about 45 minutes of hands-on time with PSVR yesterday at GDC and came away extremely impressed. He goes on to say that he believes his skepticism surrounding its launch date is being put aside after seeing how good games look in virtual reality mode -- and how comfortable he felt while playing. Ben Gilbert at TechCrunch offered similar praise, saying PSVR appears to be the system of choice among major players in tech right now.

Final Thoughts
Playstation VR is a great addition to your gaming family. The coolest part of Playstation VR is that you can turn off your TV and still play video games in 3D. Playstation does a great job of making everything easy to use. It's not just for gaming, it will make your gaming more fun. If you get Playstation VR I recommend getting room scale so you can walk around while you play, it makes things much better! If you have any questions or comments please ask below! :)

The Bottom Line
The Sony PlayStation VR is a capable virtual reality headset that offers quality visuals and solid performance at a reasonable price. It isn't as immersive as Oculus or HTC's options, and its tracking system can be unreliable, but it's still a great option for gamers who don't want to spend more than $400 on their VR set-up. If you're looking for an entry-level device, this headset is worth considering.
